It is the same business as the wristband, seen from the other side of the counter: a number that decides who goes next. The customer walks in, tears off their ticket and sits down. The queue stops being a queue and becomes a list.

The DP1100 is mechanical: no battery, no socket, nothing that can break on a Saturday morning. It mounts on the wall or on the counter and takes 2- and 3-digit rolls. One roll holds 2,000 tickets.

Where it is used

Four things that stop them being passed around

01

Tamper-evident die-cut

The security die-cut makes it impossible to remove without destroying it. There is no way to take it off intact and put it on another wrist.

02 Nobody else offers this here

UV security mark

A mark printed in invisible ink, visible only under black light. Checked at the door in one second, and impossible to fake by eye.

03

Single use

The thick adhesive layer leaves the wristband useless once it is peeled off. It opens once, and that's it.

04

Sequential numbering

Every wristband carries its printed number and comes in perforated sheets of 10 — quick to tear at the door, and the count reconciles at the end of the night.
