One colour per access level. Checked at a glance, with no lists and no lanyards.

Here the band doesn't count people: it separates zones. General, VIP, press, artists, production. Security doesn't have to remember names or check a list — they look at the wrist.

Metallics and gold are worth saving for the top tier because nothing else looks like them, even in photographs. Black works for staff and production, who don't want to stand out.
